Jane really brought me on in maths to prepare for my GCSE maths exam last summer. In school I was in a big class of 24-30 pupils so having the 1:1 was definitely beneficial. If I was struggling in a certain area of math Jane helped with alternative ways to explain the mathematics to help me understand clearer on how to work it out. She helped give me some exam techniques that I didn't know before going to her which I then applied to my maths papers last may.

Jane was the main reason I moved my Maths 'A' Level grade from D to B. She helped me to re-energise my enthusiasm in Maths which passed to other subjects.

Janes service was recommended to me by a friend and it turned out to be the most influential decision I took during my A-level studies. At first I was a little reluctant to receive help from an external tutor but after meeting Jane for the first time it was very clear that she only wanted the best for me. With her expert knowledge and teaching abilities ,Jane immediately impacted my process in answering exam questions and consequently improved my results by two grades between my first and second year. To be precise, the fundamentals of each topic were taught during the sessions and then I was given a few exercises to complete for review the following week which were well balanced amongst my other academic workloads. These sessions didn’t just improve my mathematics however, as Janes clear method of working transferred to other subjects which helped me formulate an organised revision schedule to ensure that I covered the appropriate exam materials. My only regret is I wish I started working with Jane sooner!
